Now, you probably knew this already, but … if global warming were ever really to become a huge problem, we could just nuke a section of … say … Sahara (say, parts of Chad or Niger in a “bangs for bucks” program) throwing up a huge cloud of dust and dropping global temperatures for a century or so. About three dozen nukes should do it.
