Here’s at least one positive review
By Daniel Avery
The other reviews that I’ve read are unfair, in my opinion. Here’s why I liked this book, and why others won’t like it:
The basic idea of the book is this: You, your family and your business are entitled to be protected against frivolous lawsuits and rapacious taxes. To do this, always make your business a C-corporation (examples of reasons why all other entities are bad, sometimes multiple examples). The exceptions are LLC if you are investing in real estate, or a family limited partnership if you have several family businesses.
Also, any university entrepreneurship student can tell you that C-corporations have the “double taxation” problem. This book explains how to use multiple C-corps (at least one has to be formed in Nevada) to get past this problem easily.
There are also more detail on various areas of the tax code (IRC) and what that means for you so you can get the benefits, where offshore to go to get offshore protection trusts (Nevis, Cook Islands, etc.), how to save your assets if you have to go bankrupt or get sued, practical how-to of following corporate formalities, you get the idea.

Why others don’t like this book:
1) The point of this book is to give you ideas of what you can do, so that when you sit down with your attorney and/or tax accountant, you don’t give up when they tell you “That’s not possible.”. Instead, you go find a lawyer/tax accountant who does know how to make this work, or you reply “Yes it is. Figure it out.” The value right there is tremendous. If you have the knowledge advantage over your attorney/accountant, you have the power. It is not just any lawyer or accountant who knows this stuff, and neither lawyers nor accountants are infallible or all-knowing. If your attorney and or accountant doesn’t know this stuff, it might be time to fire them and graduate to one that does know this stuff. Just saying.
I think many readers expected this to be a step-by-step how-to book, but obviously, all situations are different, which is why you must explain your situation to an attorney and accountant yourself. Legally, the authors cannot give you personally the exact answer to your specific situation. Practically, they don’t know your situation, and can’t guess. Go take this book with you to see a local attorney/accountant near you and work to find one who knows enough and is willing to help you put these principles into practice. If they say no, you may want to move on and keep looking.
2) This point is similar to the first. I think some reviewers are accountants or attorneys themselves and just didn’t know that you could do this, so they think it’s not possible and want to criticize. Well, this may be news to you, but the world is huge and you don’t know everything. So sit tight and keep an open mind. You may learn something. These guys have done it. Why can’t you?

I gave this book 4 stars because the presentation format is a little weird, and because a lot of this could be condensed. I would say only a couple sections are super valuable, but those sections are practically priceless! Read starting around pages 26, 137, 149, 223, and 235 to get a lot of the good stuff. As a grad of a highly-rated university entrepreneurship program, I wish this stuff had been taught in my business school.

Pretty disorganized and rather sloppily edited
By Nik Gervae
A friend lent me Robert Kiyosaki’s “Rich Dad, Poor Dad”, which prompted me to get this book. It covers a lot of ground at a decently high level but is not well written. The authors dive into detail when more overview would have been appropriate, use very sketchy examples, and plop feel-good New-Agey quotes in the margins of most pages. The book also has an alarming number of typos, spelling errors, and cross-references that are off by a page or two, for something written by accountants. You’d think they would care about attention to detail, especially since this seems to be a major promotional piece for their very own services setting up corporations. Hm.

Don’t believe the title
By Winning Forex Systems
The title would have you believe that the one stupid thing you ever did in your life was to never have incorporated. I really don’t care for this disingenuous type of marketing ploy. I mean, sure … there are certain things about Incorporating that can save you a few dollars in a few certain situations. I suppose if you want to learn about a few situations where incorporating can save you a few bucks you’ll find a couple of ideas in this book. But “Grow Rich!” ??? … gimme a break.
