WAYNESBORO — Texas Roadhouse announced in a press release Thursday that it will be opening its Waynesboro location in mid-March.
The company’s public relations department confirmed last spring that it would be opening the 7,900-plus square-foot restaurant sometime in 2025, but now it appears that will happen in the first quarter of the year. Construction began last year on the building at 1880 Rosser Avenue.
Waynesboro’s Texas Roadhouse will be a full-service, casual dining concept known for its hand-cut steaks, ribs and down-home atmosphere, according to the release. The menu features an assortment of steaks, ribs, chicken, salads, hamburgers, and vegetables. Most selections include two made-from-scratch side items and unlimited fresh-baked bread and peanuts.
The new Texas Roadhouse in Waynesboro is currently hiring for full- and part-time staff. It will employ a staff of 200, per the release. Those interested in employment can apply directly to Waynesboro opportunities at https://becomearoadie.com/ The restaurant is currently accepting applications online and conducting interviews at a hiring trailer next door, Monday through Sunday 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Once open, the restaurant will serve dinner-only Monday through Thursday from 3-10 p.m. and be open for lunch and dinner Friday and Saturday 11 a.m. – 11 p.m. and Sunday, 11 a.m. – 10 p.m.
