GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) – The Grand Junction Police and Fire departments are currently on the scene of a three-vehicle crash.
The collision occurred around 4 p.m., Thursday, at the intersection of Patterson and 28 1/4 roads. GJPD reported only minor injuries happened as a result of the crash. Our reporter on the scene said one vehicle had its airbags deployed.
According to the GJPD, City of Grand Junction employees who saw the crash helped in bringing a vehicle upright after it rolled onto its side before law enforcement arrived.
There were no significant injuries in the crash, according to the police department. One driver was transported to a local hospital to be evaluated for minor injuries.
The police department said residents should expect delays if they are traveling in the area.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
