A Pennsauken man, 72, has received a lengthy prison term for sexual abuse of children


A 72-year-old South Jersey man has received a 27-year prison term for sex crimes against two juveniles.

Henry Parker must serve more than 20 years before parole eligibility, according to the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office.

Parker was accused of sexual activity with two juveniles from October 2009 until January 2018, when the victims contacted police, according to the prosecutor’s office.

The crimes occurred in his home, according to the office.

A Superior Court jury in June found Parker guilty of two counts of aggravated sexual assault, five counts each of sexual assault and aggravated criminal sexual contact, and four counts of endangering the welfare of a minor.

He was also convicted of engaging or soliciting prostitution of a minor.
