GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) — On Thursday, a two-car collision at the intersection of Hwy 50 and 29 road left multiple hospitalized. The Welkers, the family who was hit, has been left in a steep financial burden.
WesternSlopeNow spoke with the family, who says they now have no car and no source of income as the father will be out of work for months as he can barely speak as he prepares to have a complicated surgery on his jaw. The mother is also in pain as she sustained some internal bruising and an injury to her pancreas which put her out of work for the time being, too.
